Παρασκευή Σαραντίδου, Professor in Marketing, Business School of The American College of Greece
Paraskevi Sarantidou is a Professor in Marketing in the Business School of The American College of Greece. She has been a member of the DEREE Marketing faculty since 1998 while from 2006 to 2014 she served as the Head of the Marketing Department.
She earned her MBA at California State University at Long Beach and, considerably later in life her PhD from the University of Stirling.
Professor Sarantidou is a dynamic professional with extensive experience and knowledge in the Greek business sector. She has held several marketing positions in the fmcg, and retail industry and was involved in many Paneuropean projects for the development of both existing and new products. During the last 15 years is committed in teaching and helping students understand in a practical way the application of the theories and relate new concepts to daily experiences. She has taught at both graduate and undergraduate level. Primarily she is teaching Marketing Management, Marketing Strategies, and Sales Management. Her primary research interests are in the areas of branding and customer satisfaction.
Also, she led efforts to develop new academic programs as well as programs for executive development. She was part of the team for the development of the Executive Development Program: Leading Customer Service Experience in which she is delivering the module of “Customer Service as a source of Competitive Advantage”.
